# Successful Cooperation Talks With Chinese Companies

From **24.04.2017** to **02.05.2017**, a Chinese business delegation from Saxony’s partner province Hubei visited the Free State of Saxony. The sector-specific sales promotion instrument (BBA), supported by the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport (SMWA), provided Saxon and Chinese companies with a platform for exchange and establishing contacts. Although the focus was on automation technologies and Industry 4.0, there was also considerable interest in energy efficiency and energy optimization. China has become a leader in electric mobility and renewable generation systems in recent years. “The People’s Republic of China is of great interest to us as energy architects. We see enormous market potential for integrated renewable energy systems and charging infrastructure solutions. Together with **[ESI ITI](https://www.simulationx.de/branchen/anwendungen/energiesysteme.html)**, our products **[Green Building and GreenCity/SimulationX](https://www.green-city-library.de/)** are actively marketed in China,” says Ralf Schieferdecker, Sales Director at EA Systems Dresden GmbH.
