# Smart City Expo World Congress 2019

From November 19 to 21, EA Systems Dresden GmbH participated in the [Smart City Expo World Congress 2019](https://smartcities-infosystem.eu/newsroom/events/smart-city-expo-world-congress-2019) in Barcelona. EASD joined the [Saxony stand](https://standort-sachsen.de/de/info-center/veranstaltungskalender/52653-smart-city-expo-world-congress-gemeinschaftsstand-sachsen) organized by the economic development agency and presented smart solutions for energy supply and mobility in tomorrow’s cities together with MAtchUp partners. As a special eye-catcher for the stand, EASD engineers built a multimedia, interactive engineering test bench to test and visualize novel intelligent control algorithms and monitoring data.

Several successful discussions also took place with interested representatives from city and municipal administrations, business, industry, research, and energy utilities. New contacts were established, including in France, Canada, and Sweden.
