Diagrams illustrating model integration into the BIM planning process
The FMI4BIM research project is drawing to a close. Together with our project partners, we would therefore like to present its results in a workshop at the third Energiewendebauen Congress in Wuppertal. The workshop will address integrating building and building services simulation into the planning process with BIM. The FMI4BIM project aimed to integrate simulation into planning, using BIM as a method for digital collaboration. Digitally available building model data was to be used to parameterize building and building services simulations and support planning with their results. Specialist presentations will cover the processes developed and the results. The presentation topics are:
- BIM-based building modeling with IFC data
- Building and building services modeling based on IFC data
- Generation of simulation-ready FMU models
- Coupled multi-domain simulations – approach and experience
- Preparation and evaluation of results for specialist planners
- FMI 3.0: Effective model coupling through terminals
Everyone interested is warmly invited to the workshop. Both the workshop and the congress are free of charge. To register for the workshop, please send us an informal email with the subject “FMI4BIM-Workshop” to info@ea-energie.de.
Further information about the congress and registration.
We would be delighted to talk with you and discuss the results.
