Scientific Energy Monitoring at Sonthofen Secondary School

EnOB-compliant monitoring and optimization of a zero-energy school

Period:
2013 – 2015

Optimizing Plant Operation at a Passive House School

EA Systems conducted intensive monitoring of the complex plant system at Sonthofen secondary school for two years. Insights into its operating strategy enabled a significant increase in the passive house school’s energy efficiency and a considerable reduction in operating costs. The project demonstrates the importance of validated checks and tests after energy supply systems are commissioned.
