The first applications for the newBMVI- funding guideline of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Germany can be submitted from 01.03.2017 to 28.04.2017. The first phase of the funding programme provides 10 million euros for normal charging infrastructure (up to 22 kW) and up to 2,500 fast charging points (from 22 kW). By 2020, 300 million euros are to be invested for the market ramp-up of electromobility.
The subsidy is for investment grants for the acquisition and construction of publicly accessible charging infrastructure. This also includes the necessary grid connections at the charging location and the installation of charging stations.
